We take your health and safety seriously 

What our team does to avoid cross-contamination

Our brushes used in the bathrooms are not used in any other part of the home. 

  • Bathroom towels and towels for the rest of the home are color coordinated to not be used in other parts of the home. 

  • Nothing that was used in another home will come into your home without being washed, or properly disinfected. 

  • The team wears gloves and will change gloves when finished cleaning the bathrooms. 

  • We ask that unless you scheduled a Moving Mountain Clean you please provide your toilet brush.  

Safety Policy
  • Keys and Alarm Systems: MCE will not accept keys. If you will not be home for your cleaning, we ask you to please provide a way for your cleaner(s) to gain entry into your home. You can either: Leave a key at the home or provide us with a garage door code or a front door code. If your home has an alarm, please provide the office with our code to disarm it.

  •  For the safety of our clients and team members, we ask you to please do not follow closely behind workers. Please inspect the area after our workers have finished the room.  Cleaners must wear shoes in the home for their safety.  

  • We ask that you please let us know what type of specific cleaning you need for us to schedule our team members accordingly. here are some other types of cleans that we provide upon request. 

  • Post construction cleaning 

  • Heavy duty clean- 6 months of not cleaning the home

  • Special floor cleaning- Will possibly need special equipment.

  • Organizing and deep cleaning- picking up things from the floor and clutter areas needing to be arranged to get to the main clean. 

  • We may not reach certain heights in your home our tallest dust poles are 20 feet high and our team members are only allowed to use a small step stool for safety.

  • We may not reach certain areas in the home if are being blocked by furniture or we can't move in the area. 

 Other Services

  • Clean bodily fluids: blood, urine, or feces. These are biohazards and we are not trained or certified to handle these. ( We do not do) 

  • Handle any home with insect infestations. If an infestation is identified, the cleaners assigned to your home will leave. You will be contacted immediately and the service fee will not be returned. (We Don't do )

  • Clean dishes ( extra fee)

  • Wash and fold laundry ( Extra Fee)

  • Chandeliers (depending, on extra fee)

  • Wall washing (Extra Fee)

  • Paint Removal on windows ( Extra fee) 

  • Clean up after pets or other animals. ( extra fee)

  • Pick up items off the ground ( Extra fee)

  • Move or lift items weighing over 20lbs  need to be scheduled prior ( Extra Fee) 

  • Empty diaper pails ( depending, on the extra fee) 

  • With the smell of smoke in the home we will possibly not be able to service the home if the scents are so strong that team members are having a hard time breathing. We will not return the deposit. We ask you to air out your home before we arrive. example: strong cigar, cigarette, and marijuana smells

  • A large amount of animal hair and dust ( Extra Fee) 

  • Hard stuck grease, may not all come out the first clean. ( Extra Fee) 

  • Under area rug cleaning ( We do not do normally clean that need to be requested by the correct team members extra fee applies) We ask the clients to roll up large rugs if they like us to vacuum and mop floors.)

  • Terms and conditions at the bottom of your estimates or invoices will give you more information on possible extra fees. 

  • MCE provides all of the cleaning products and equipment needed to clean your home. other than toilet brushes. 

  •    If you would like us to use specialty products or equipment, please leave it out and make sure you have already communicated this. ( extra charges may apply)

  • . We are not responsible for ANY damage caused by cleaning products or equipment provided by the client or if the client has not informed us of specific products that can't be used. 

  • We also cannot honor the quality of cleaning if we use the client's cleaning products or equipment.

  • We will keep our processes of cleaning. If the client wants two-step processes or different processes of cleaning we consider this a customized clean and will require a price increase. 

  • It is required that your home has running water, electricity, and working electrical outlets. We reserve the right to charge you the full amount if our team members are not provided with running water and or electricity and will need to reschedule for another day. 

  • The first cleaning is quoted based on an average home condition. And is Required for the client to choose the correct level of cleaning needed for their home. We provide pictures and a list of what we do on each clean.  If your home requires a more extensive cleaning you will be charged accordingly.  If special requests are made to team members we will charge after the cleaning according to what we normally charge or customize clean charges. 

  • We do not guarantee Deposits from rental move-outs 

  • We will not return the deposit if team members can't start service on time, need to leave the job site because of any problems caused by the client, and, still will be charged for the cost of service. 

  • Carpet cleaning can not guarantee that all stains and smells will be able to be removed. 

  • If our Team Members are not allowed to begin on the start time a grace period of 10 mins. after this time (extra fees will be charged) 

  • We try our best to accommodate all client's requests, last minute changes affect everyone. Changes to clients' cleaning schedules need to be done 3 days prior. Last-minute changes may not be able to be made and charges may occur depending on the effects of the team members losing work and the opportunity to be scheduled with another client.

 All MCE policies are put in place to keep our team members on schedule and provide our clients with a high-quality clean. When clients do not communicate or choose correctly what is needed to complete the work, it affects everyone. We may have needed to schedule more team members or a larger window of time. Team members are also paid for their workload. We ask clients to be upfront and honest to help us schedule correctly and avoid any inconvenience fees.
